New Orleans, LA’s Tulane University has announced their 2018 edition of The Tipping Point bash at Tipitina’s, set to take place on Friday, November 9th, 2018. The all-star blowout will feature Ziggy Marley, Taj Mahal, Irma Thomas, Ani DiFranco, Allen Stone, Jimmy Vivino, George Porter Jr., Ivan Neville, and Cyril Neville along with The Tipping Point House Band, Mark Mullins, and Levee Horns. All of this musical star power will be orchestrated by musical director Eric Krasno.
At last year’s The Tipping Point, Tulane celebrated the launch of their ambitious $13.5 billion fundraising campaign for new multifaceted university initiative, Only The Audacious, which aims to improve the school and its community with “pioneering research, transformative teaching, opportunity and diversity, and building an environment for excellence.”
