Singer-songwriter Joseph Arthur and R.E.M. guitarist Peter Buck came together to record an album as Arthur Buck. The self-titled debut, which was released via New West Records back in June, features 11 new songs with both Buck and Arthur sharing writing credits.
The longtime friends stopped by the studios of Seattle’s KEXP to perform a set of tunes and participate in an interview with Cheryl Waters for the radio station. Backed by bassist Scott McCaughey, drummer Linda Pitmon and keyboardist Gregg Foreman, the pair offered up takes on “Wide Awake In November,” “The Wanderer,” “Can’t Make It Without You” and “Fall In Love With Me.” Watch the full session below:
