The first weekend of the 2018 Austin City Limits Music Festival starts this Friday, October 5 and runs through Sunday, October 7 in Austin’s Zilker Park. If you can’t make it to Austin for weekend one of the ACL Fest in person, there’s an option to watch select performances from home or wherever you have an internet connection.
Austin City Limits Music Festival organizers have teamed with Red Bull TV to provide a free webcast featuring select performances, interviews and exclusive segments. Paul McCartney, Metallica, Arctic Monkeys, Chvrches, St. Vincent, Sylvan Esso, Father John Misty, Brandi Carlile, Greta Van Fleet, Shakey Graves, Manchester Orchestra and Asleep At The Wheel are among the acts participating. Watch via the festival’s website, redbull.tv/aclfest or using the Red Bull TV app. A number of performance highlights and interviews can be viewed on demand after the event. The full schedule has yet to be revealed as of press time.
