Today, Tuscon, AZ’s Gem & Jam Festival has announced that the annual music and camping festival will be taking the upcoming year off (2019).
Over the last two years, Gem & Jam Festival has taken place at Pima County Fairgrounds, just a few miles south of Tucson, Arizona. Located on 640 acres of expansive desert free of noise ordinances and the constrictions of city life, Gem & Jam has consistently delivered a musical, spiritual, and existential experience like no other with its truly diverse lineup and awe-inspiring location. The festival organizers have noted they do intend to bring fans, “the best G&J yet in 2020.”

Dear Gem & Jam Community,
We have come to the difficult decision to take this upcoming year off. We want to produce the best festival possible, which all of you deserve. Taking a year off will allow us more time to get things in line to properly create the best experience possible. Rather than rushing into something we do not feel good about, we truly believe that this is the best course if action – taking a year off, and rededicating ourselves to doing the best G&J yet in 2020.
We greatly appreciate all the support over the past 12 years, it has really been a blessing. We look forward to doing it all again in 2020! We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused anyone. This festival would not have happened in the first place without your support, so thank you for that!
Please stay tuned for updates throughout the year.
Gratefully,
The Gem & Jam Family
