John Prine performed “When I Get To Heaven” from his new album The Tree Of Forgiveness on Monday’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The singer-songwriter was backed by his band and joined by the show’s host and house band The Roots during last night’s appearance.
Prine issued The Tree Of Forgiveness earlier this year featuring his first collection of new original material in 13 years. The record was made with producer Dave Cobb at RCA Studio A in Nashville. Watch Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon and The Roots adding kazoos to “When I Get To Heaven” below:
