Chicago’s own Mungion will ring in 2019 with a hometown New Year’s Eve concert. The quartet will play three sets at Martyrs’ in Chicago on December 31.
“This past year we’ve played a lot of support dates for national touring acts, which is great, but having a show all to ourselves gives us an opportunity to really take liberties in the live setting,” said Mungion guitarist Justin Reckamp in a statement. “We have the entire night to try out some new material and really put ourselves in a position to have a shared experience with the audience. As far as what’s planned, we’ve been floating a couple ideas around… That’s all I can really say right now but you definitely won’t leave disappointed.” Tickets go on sale here Thursday, October 11 at 10 a.m. CT.
