St. Paul & The Broken Bones Perform On ‘Saturday Sessions’

Each Saturday, CBS This Morning presents a series of musical performances under the Saturday Sessions banner. This morning’s installment featured St. Paul and The Broken Bones who stopped by the show’s Manhattan studio to perform a trio of songs from their most recent studio album Young Sick Camellia.

The Birmingham, Alabama-based soul ensemble worked with producer Jack Splash whose prior credits include Solange, Kendrick Lamar, Diplo, Alicia Keys, Mayer Hawthorne to expand their sonic palette for their latest. “This record is about me growing up in a digital age, and my father and papaw growing up in their different times and exploring the dynamics of those relationships” frontman Paul Janeway stated. St. Paul & The Broken Bones delivered takes on “Apollo,” “Got It Bad” and “Bruised Fruit” for the morning magazine show, which you can watch below:
