St. Vincent‘s Annie Clark recorded a pair of songs for the Black Box Sessions video series. Clark went acoustic for performances of two tunes off 2017’s Masseduction at the Indie88 headquarters in Toronto.
The acclaimed singer-songwriter recently released MassEducation, an album featuring stripped-down renditions of most of the material from Masseduction. While MassEducation finds Clark performing with pianist Thomas Bartlett, Annie goes it alone for the Black Box Sessions videos. Up first is a version of “Los Ageless,” which is followed by an acoustic take on “Slow Disco.” Watch both of St. Vincent’s Black Box Sessions videos below:
