Instrumental quartet TAUK kicked off an extensive tour in support of the recently released studio album Shapeshifter II: Outbreak at Funk ‘N Waffles in Rochester last week. TAUK shared professionally-shot video of the entire October 4th show.
Guitarist Matt Jalbert, drummer Isaac Teel, bassist Charlie Dolan and keyboardist Alric “A.C.” Carter put the focus on new material in Rochester. The band’s show featured five songs from Shapeshifter II: Outbreak including the live debut of “Checkmate.” TAUK also treated upstate New York “Staukers” to a few classics such as “The Spot,” “The Drop” and an “In The Basement Of The Alamo” encore.
