North Carolina’s own The Avett Brothers will headline the “Concert For Hurricane Florence Relief” at Minges Coliseum in Greenville, North Carolina on November 13. Future Islands and Valient Thorr are also aboard for performances at the benefit concert.
All proceeds from the concert will benefit Hurricane Florence relief efforts. The storm made landfall in North Carolina on September 14 and caused billions of dollars worth of damage. “We are honored by the opportunity to contribute to our friends and neighbors affected by Hurricane Florence,” said Seth Avett. “We hope this performance not only provides some financial relief for victims of the storm, but also is an occasion to celebrate the resilience of the people of North Carolina.
