The First Ladies Of Bluegrass Perform ‘The Girl I Left Behind Me’

The First Ladies Of Bluegrass shared video of a live performance of the traditional English folk tune “The Girl I Left Behind Me.” The group is made up of Alison Brown on banjo, Sierra Hull on mandolin, Missy Raines on bass, Molly Tuttle on guitar and Becky Buller on fiddle.

The supergroup made their live debut this summer at RockyGrass in Lyons, Colorado. The musicians also worked on Raines’ album Traveller and on a video for Brown’s Deering Julia Belle banjo. Their recording of “That Girl I Left Behind Me” was made at Compass Sound Studio in Nashville, watch here:
