Umphrey’s McGee announced their first tour of 2019. The Wax On, Wax Off Winter 2019 Tour will span January 11 through February 23.
The year starts for UM with a two-night stand at The National in Richmond, Virginia on January 11 and 12. UM then follows their return to Jam Cruise with a pair of shows at Cincinnati’s Taft Theatre on January 18 and 19 featuring support from Big Something. Next, the sextet plays The Riverside Theater in Milwaukee on January 25 and 26 with openers The Marcus King Band. From there, Umphrey’s heads to the Northeast for performances in New Haven on January 31, Albany on February 1 and Portland (Maine) on February 2 with Robert Walter’s 20th Congress and three nights at Brooklyn Steel in New York City February 14 – 16.
The band also confirmed a February 21st appearance in Fort Wayne, Indiana and two shows at The Fillmore in Detroit on February 22 and 23. Moser Woods opens in Fort Wayne and Michal Menert & the Pretty Fantastics kicks off the action in Detroit.
