Back in May, Amos Lee released his latest studio album My New Moon via Dualtone Records. Today, the singer-songwriter has issued a new 17-track deluxe edition of the LP that features his take on Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On.”
“‘What’s Going On’ has always been one of my favorite songs. It’s universal, timeless, poignant, powerful, and lyrically perfect,” Lee shared with NPR’s World Cafe. “It embodies the story of struggle and strength as well as anything ever written.
