Tonight, outlaw country legend Willie Nelson will perform at ACL Live At The Moody Theater in Austin for a taping of the 44th season of long-running live music television show Austin City Limits. If you can’t make it to Austin for Willie in person, there’s an option to watch from home or wherever you have an internet connection.
Austin City Limits will provide a free webcast of Willie’s taping live from Austin via the program’s YouTube channel. Willie Nelson’s performance with his Family Band is expected to start at 8 p.m. CT. Nelson’s upcoming appearance will be his 18th on Austin City Limits in total and first with his Family Band since 2000. The Red Headed Stranger helped launch Austin City Limits as part of the pilot episode in 1974 and a bronze statue of Willie stands outside ACL’s studio home.
