Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame act KISS embarked on this year’s Kiss Kruise with their fans yesterday. The band’s sail-away show saw them reunite with original lead guitarist Ace Frehley and former guitarist Bruce Kulick. KISS also pre-taped a performance that aired on last night’s episode of the Late Late Show With James Corden.
The members of KISS went without makeup for their acoustic performance on the Kiss Cruise, which avoided the uncomfortable scene of Frehley playing with current KISS guitarist Tommy Thayer dressed in Ace’s iconic “Spaceman” costume and makeup. Bruce Kulick, who was part of KISS from 1984 – 1996, emerged for the band’s first version of “Domino” since 1995. Kulick stuck around for “Hide Your Heart” and was also on hand when Ace Frehley came out to a hero’s welcome for covers of The Rolling Stones’ “2000 Man” and Hello’s “New York Groove” as well as originals “Nothin’ To Lose” and “Rock & Roll All Nite.” Check out fan-shot video thanks to Mike Brunn:
