On November 30, Kitchen Dwellers will issue Reheated, Vol. 1. The four-song collection is the inaugural release in a series of covers-only EPs with the first one featuring the music of The Band. Today, the Bozeman, Montana-based band shared “Don’t Do It” from the album in honor of The Last Waltz. The Marvin Gaye tune was a staple of The Band’s repertoire and was performed at the group’s The Last Waltz farewell concert on Thanksgiving 1976.

“I still remember the first time I saw The Last Waltz, the greatest concert movie of all time. Something about that stage being lit up and the all-star musician cast that The Band had a history with. It’s iconic,” shared Kitchen Dwellers guitarist Max Davies. “The Band’s storytelling, musicianship, and vocal abilities are what makes them such an influential group to this day. Those are all things that resonate with us and it was a blast to step inside their shoes and learn a thing or two.”

Reheated, Vol. 1 was recorded during a break between their winter and spring 2018 tours and features guest keyboardist Jordan Feinstein on “Get Up Jake” and “Chest Fever.” Listen to the Kitchen Dwellers’ take on “Don’t Do It” below:
