Massive Attack will honor the 21st anniversary of their 1998 album Mezzanine with a world tour. The group announced a 13-date North American leg of the tour featuring Cocteau Twins’ vocalist Elizabeth Fraser and other special guests.
Robert “3D” Del Naja previously described the upcoming show as “our own personalized nostalgia nightmare head trip,” as per Exclaim. Massive Attack’s North American Tour 2019 begins at Place des Arts in Montreal on March 11. From there, the group visits Toronto, Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Detroit, Chicago and St. Paul. The tour is currently slated to end in California with gigs in San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego.
