Twiddle frontman Mihali Savoulidis has shared a taste of his upcoming debut solo album with “Fading State.” The politically-charged track was produced by Johnny Cosmic of Stick Figure and features Mihali teaming up with Nahko (Nahko And Medicine for the People) and Trevor Hall.
“The climate crisis that’s happening on our beautiful planet is getting worse and worse every year,” Mihali shared with Billboard about “Fading State.” “With each passing year, the issue is continuously met with opposition motivated by greed. It’s up to all of us as individuals to do what we can to educate ourselves about what’s going on and to do our part to make a positive change in the world. With our current political climate, I think now is the perfect time for this single to be released.” Watch the animated video for the tune below:
Mihali has yet to reveal the title or release date for his forthcoming studio album. The guitarist will hit the road for a series of solo shows next month.
