Bassist Oteil Burbridge is gearing up for a five-night Oteil & Friends New Year’s Run featuring two shows at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York on December 27 and 29 as well as two nights at Brooklyn Bowl in New York City on December 30 and 31 and a set supporting Gov’t Mule at the Tower Theater in Philadelphia on December 28. Burbridge shared professionally-shot video of “Sugaree” from a recent Oteil & Friends’ set and also announced a VIP Experience at Garcia’s on December 27 and 29 as part of his band’s run at The Capitol Theatre.
Oteil’s lineup for the New Year’s Run includes keyboardist Melvin Seals, guitarists Eric Krasno and John Kadlecik, drummer Jay Lane, trumpeter/vocalist Jennifer Hartswick and percussionist Weedie Braimah. Johnathan Singer will provide visuals at the Oteil & Friends’ headlining shows while Hartswick and trombonist/vocalist Natalie Cressman will be the band’s special guests on December 30 and 31.
The VIP Experience at Garcia’s next to The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester on December 27 and 29 will include an intimate set in which Oteil will be joined by John Kadlecik, a signed limited edition screen print poster and more.
