Earlier this week, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead added 25 2019 tour dates to their schedule for next year. The band went on to reveal bassist Oteil Burbridge will sub for Dave Dreiwitz at four shows in February.
Oteil of Dead & Company and The Allman Brothers Band fame has become JRAD’s go-to bassist when Dreiwitz is unavailable. Burbridge’s latest appearances with Joe Russo’s Almost Dead took place last month. The five-piece will have Burbridge on bass on February 14 at The Tabernacle in Atlanta as well as for two nights at The Pageant in St. Louis on February 15 and 16. Oteil will also hold down the bottom end at The Sylvee in Madison, Wisconsin on February 17. Tickets for the 25 recently announced JRAD shows go on sale today.
