Last week, Noah Lennox, who records under the moniker Panda Bear announced the upcoming release of Buoys on February 9. Today, the Animal Collective member revealed that he will head out on a short February tour in support of his first LP since 2015.
Panda Bear’s six-date run kicks off on February 11 in Washington D.C. at the 9:30 Club. Gigs at Boston’s Paradise Rock Club, Brooklyn’s Pioneer Works and the Windy City’s The Art Institue Of Chicago follow. The short tour then wraps with a pair of West Coast shows. First up is a night at The Lodge Room in Los Angeles on February 18 with the finale happening in San Francisco at The Regency Ballroom two nights later. Ticket for all shows go on sale on Thursday, November 15 at 10 a.m. local time.
