Cincinnati’s own Rumpke Mountain Boys will ring in 2019 with a pair of hometown shows. The string band recently confirmed plans for a two-night New Year’s Run at 20th Century Theatre in Cincinnati on December 30 and 31.
Rumpke Mountain Boys will go electric on December 30th with help from Joe Marcinek, John-Paul Nowak and Myron Koch. Arlo McKinley and The Lonesome Sound and Hot Brown Smackdown are aboard as support for the first night in Cincinnati. Then, on New Year’s Eve, the self-described “trashgrass” act tapped Restless Leg String Band and Slippery Creek to open. Tickets for both shows are on sale now.
