After receiving his star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame this past week, iconic rapper and entertainment personality Snoop Dogg has released a Thanksgiving-appropriate new Amazon original track “Grateful”, featuring fellow West Coast rappers E-40 and Tyrese. The newly released song showcases Snoop’s gospel side, with hints of R&B and soul sprinkled throughout the entirety of the track.

“Grateful” was released exclusively through Amazon, which means you have to subscribe to their music service to stream the new track. If you don’t have Amazon though, you can still check out a sample of “Grateful” below.

At his Hollywood Walk of Fame star unveiling, Snoop was introduced by his longtime producer and friend Dr. Dre, record producer Quincy Jones, and comedian and late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel. In addition to his family, who some may remember from USA’s Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood TV show, Snoop was surrounded by many of his friends and colleagues that he’s worked with throughout his illustrious 25+ year career in the music industry. HipHopDX reports that Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Pharrell Williams, Battlecat, Terrace Martin, Darris Love, Jeannie Buss, DJ Pooh, Big Boi, Bishop Don “Magic” Juan, John Singleton, and Warren G. were all in attendance this past Monday night.

Following the ceremony, hilarious reports surfaced regarding Snoop Dogg’s acceptance speech. People reports that Snoop Dogg finished addressing his crowd of friends and supporters by noting,

Last but not least, I want to thank me for believing in me. I want to thank me for doing all this hard work, I want to thank me for having no days off, I want to thank me for never quitting, I want to thank me for always being a giver and trying to give more than I receive. I want to thank me for trying to do more rights than wrong, I want to thank me for just being me at all times.

Congrats, Snoop Dogg, and we hope you continue believing in yourself!
