Instrumental progressive rockers TAUK recently concluded an extensive fall tour in support of Shapeshifter II: Outbreak. On November 9, the quartet brought the tour to Boulder’s Fox Theatre and today unveiled pro-shot video of the entire concert.
Guitarist Matt Jalbert, drummer Isaac Teel, bassist Charlie Dolan and keyboardist Alric “A.C.” Carter kicked off the two-set show with fan-favorite “Collateral.” Next came “Cocoa Butter” and an extended rendition of Shapeshifter II: Outbreak standout “Convoy.” A run of “Revenge Of Weenus” and “Darkwing” was followed by a cover of Thundercat’s “Them Changes.” TAUK closed out the frame with “Dusty Jacket” off 2014’s Collisons.
TAUK mixed songs from throughout their career for the second set in Boulder. Shapeshifter II: Outbreak was represented by “Checkmate,” “Upside Down” and “CMF 9000.” The set was also highlighted by a lengthy “Rainwalk,” the classic “Carpentino’s Rebirth” and a take on Soundgarden’s “Black Hole Sun.” For the encore, TAUK went with “Pitter Pattern” and Queen’s “We Are The Champions.” Watch the entire show below:
