Grammy-winning jamgrass act The Infamous Stringdusters will issue Live From Telluride on all digital retailers and platforms this Friday, November 16 via Tape Time Records. The band also added a series of February and March dates to their first tour of 2019. JamBase is pleased to premiere The Infamous Stringdusters’ cover of “Tennessee Jed” by the Grateful Dead off Live From Telluride.
Live From Telluride features a mix of covers and originals spanning The Infamous Stringdusters’ 12-year career and eight previous studio albums. The 20-track LP was recorded this past summer. Here’s what banjoist Chris Pandolfi had to say about the forthcoming live album:
“Telluride Bluegrass has been the center of the acoustic festival universe for many years, and we have been really honored to be involved in that. The fans are knowledgeable, but even more importantly, they are always down to connect with the moment and bring a lot of energy to the performance. It’s a place of deep inspiration because of the amazing surroundings, but also the amazing musical company. You feel it every time you step on stage there, and this show was no exception. We knew pretty much right after the show that this was a show worth putting out there. Hope you guys enjoy!”
