Troye Sivan Honors Freddie Mercury With Queen Cover

Bohemian Rhapsody, the new biopic detailing the life and career of Queen frontman Freddie Mercury arrives in theaters today. In honor of the band’s iconic lead singer, pop star Troye Sivan has shared a cover of “Somebody To Love” from Queen’s 1976 album A Day At The Races as a charity single.

The track was produced by Bram Inscore and is the third in a series of artist covers in support of the Mercury Phoenix Trust, an organization that was founded in 1992 by Brian May, Roger Taylor and Jim Beach to support the global fight against HIV/AIDS. The vocalist along with Universal Music Group and Queen will donate net profits of the track to the MPT. Listen to Sivan’s take on the song below:
