On February 8, Cass McCombs will release his latest studio album Tip Of The Sphere via ANTI- Records. Today, the musician has shared the record’s second single “Estrella.”
The tune from the 11-track effort is a tribute to the renowned Latino artist Juan Gabriel. In addition to the studio version of “Estrella,” McCombs has unveiled a live take that he recorded to for La Blogotheque’s Take Away Show that was filmed at the Dutch National Railway Museum. Cass will hit the road for a North American tour in support of the album next year. The singer-songwriter added dates to the jaunt, including stops in Toronto, Cleveland, Nashville, Milwaukee, Vancouver, Sacramento and Santa Cruz. Check out of both versions of “Estrella” below:
