Pigeons Playing Ping Pong‘s has announced the initial lineup for their annual Domefest, returning for its 10th running on May 16th-18th next spring. The popular jam band from Baltimore are headed to new pastures for next year’s weekend event, which is set to take place for the first time at Marvin’s Mountaintop in Masontown, West Virginia–located roughly 30 minutes southeast from the college city of Morgantown.
The multi-day, camping festival will see five performances from host band Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, as well as two headlining sets from Aqueous and Mungion. Domefest will also see performances from Litz, Joe Hertler & The Rainbow Seekers, Funk You, Fletcher’s Grove, Goose, West End Blend, Swimmer, Chalk Dinosaur, and Mateo Monk. Pigeons’ own Greg Ormont will do a Scrambled Greg set, as well as Ben Carrey’s Schwa and Alex Petropulos’ Puremotion.
Last year’s Domefest at the Fort Royal Farm in Bedford, Pennsylvania turned out to be quite the mud-fest for fans in attendance. Flockers braved the springtime elements to make the weekend memorable for their entire community, as well as the band they’ve dedicated themselves to following. The weekend is also filled with non-music activities for guests to explore and enjoy, including yoga sessions, aerial silks and other unique classes taught by the members of Pigeons Playing Ping Pong themselves. Let’s just hope that Scrambled Greg doesn’t lose his voice from all the fun again this year!
