Iggy Pop, Nathaniel Rateliff, Fantastic Negrito & More Announce Bluesfest 2019 Sideshows

The 2019 Bluesfest sideshows just keep coming, with the likes of punk legend Iggy Pop, singer-songwriter Nathaniel Rateliff and Grammy-winner Fantastic Negrito announcing official festival sideshows today.

Fresh from being added to the 2019 Bluesfest lineup last month, Iggy Pop has secured headline shows in Melbourne and Sydney in April, including two shows in the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall.

Elsewhere, seven-piece soul crew Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats will perform across Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne, off the back of their latest album Tearing at the Seams.

American blues and roots hero Fantastic Negrito (Xavier Dphrepaulezz) will also perform in Sydney and Melbourne, after dropping his third Fantastic Negrito album Please Don’t Be Dead in June this year.

Meanwhile, South Carolina blues rockers The Marcus King Band will play headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne to mark their Australian debut, before performing at Bluesfest over the Easter period.
