Pearl Jam continued their “12 Days Of Pearl Jam” video series by sharing professionally-shot video featuring a song from the band’s July 17, 2018 concert at London’s 02 Arena. Guitarist Stone Gossard has a rare chance fronting the group on “Mankind.”
The Seattle rockers originally recorded “Mankind” for 1996’s No Code. “Mankind” still stands as the only song on a Pearl Jam album to feature lead vocals from Gossard. At the end of the performance in the video below, Stone exclaims, “I guess that’s the reason why [Eddie Vedder] doesn’t let me sing.
