Phoebe Bridgers recently stopped by Spotify’s New York City studios to record an installment of the Spotify Singles series. The singer-songwriter performed a track from her critically-acclaimed 2017 debut along with a sublime cover of The Cure‘s “Friday I’m In Love.”
The A-side of Bridgers’ single sees her delivering a take on “Scott Street” from her album Stranger In The Alps. The flip side features a take on The Cure’s 1992 hit from their ninth studio album Wish. Bridgers serves up a gorgeous piano-laden version of the lovelorn song. Bridgers addition to the Spotify Singles collection comes on the heels of her recently released collaboration with Jackson Browne on “Christmas Song.” Listen to Bridgers perform “Scott Street” and “Friday I’m In Love” below:
