As reported, Lake Street Dive frontwoman Rachael Price was one of the guests on this past Saturday’s installment of the radio program Live From Here With Chris Thile. Price contributed to a handful of songs during the episode, which originated from Town Hall in New York City. Pro-shot video of an LCD Soundsystem cover featuring Rachael Price, host Chris Thile and members of the show’s house band was posted on Live From Here’s YouTube channel.
The first portion of the show went to break with Thile and Price fronting a rendition of “Dance Yrself Clean.” LCD Soundsystem originally recorded the song for their 2010 studio album This Is Happening. Chris and Rachael trade verses and harmonized on the cover, which featured Shaun Martin on synth. Price also contributed to a cover of Blind Faith’s “Can’t Find My Way Home” as part of her appearance on Live From Here With Chris Thile.
