On December 21, TAUK served as the opening act for Kung Fu’s eighth annual Toys for Tots Celebration at Toad’s Place in New Haven, Connecticut. The prog-jam act delivered a set mixing material from throughout their catalog along with covers of Thundercat’s “Them Changes” and the seasonally appropriate “Carol Of The Bells.”
The quartet got their portion of the night going with “Recreational Outrage” from their most recent studio effort Shapeshifter II: Outbreak. TAUK would highlight a total of four tunes from their second release of 2018, additionally serving up takes on “Pitter Patter,” “Not Your Nemesis” and “CMF 9000.” The band also mixed in cuts from Sir Nebula, Collisons and Pull Factors. Toward the end of their 11-song set, the four-piece included an instrumental take on the yuletide classic “Carol Of The Bells” while drummer Isaac Teel handled vocals on Thundercat’s “Them Changes.” Watch full set multi-cam video captured by mk devo below:
