The Avett Brothers unveiled the studio version of “Trouble Letting Go,” the band’s second new music release since 2016. Seth Avett and Scott Avett led their band in premiering the live rendition of “Trouble Letting Go” on October 9 in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Today’s release comes just over a month after the band issued their “Roses & Sacrifice” single. As for now, there’s still no word on The Avett Brothers’ 10th studio album, which is due in 2019. The Avetts have been working with producer Rick Rubin for the LP that is expected to be released on his American Recordings label.

Scott Avett mentioned a new song was on its way by the end of the year during a recent interview with the News Observer. “We’re aiming to release at least one more song before the year is out and continue that pace into 2019,” the North Carolina native said. “We’re in the process of mixing, so there might be a few last-minute additions and songs that grow, change, get added into the sets. It’s a shame, but songs get so much better the more they’re played, and they usually get recorded when they’re so young. But that’s how we work.” Listen to “Trouble Letting Go”:
