The Disco Biscuits continued their four-night hometown New Year’s Run at The Fillmore Philadelphia on Sunday. The jamtronica act dug into their catalog delivering a number of bust outs during their two-set night in The City Of Brotherly Love.

The foursome wasted no time in mining their songbook offering up “Frog Legs” for the first time since New Year’s Eve of last year. Next, the band looked to Otherwise Law Abiding Citizens for “Feeling Twisted.” The rarity, that was delivered for just the sixth time since 2011 segued straight into back-to-back inverted songs. “Catalyst” got its first ever inverted treatment with setlist staple “Morph Dusseldorf” following. The band reached for the old-school “Down To The Bottom,” which dates back to 1996 to bring the opening frame to a close.

The Disco Biscuits unearthed “Eulogy” to get the second stanza going. The tune had been sitting on the shelf since December 27, 2013 – a span of 165 shows. Fan-favorites “House Dog Party Favor,” “Mindless Dribble” and an inverted “Crickets” filled out the mid-portion of the set. The band still had more surprises as they dusted off “Sabre Dance” as the set capper, the song has last seen action back on July 18, 2015. “Svengali” was tapped as the encore selection for the penultimate night of their New Year’s stand.
