The National’s Matt Berninger, singer-songwriter Julien Baker and composer Stephan Altman have come together to record “All I Want.” The tune is the first single from Planned Parenthood’s second volume in its 7-Inches For Planned Parenthood benefit series.
Berninger, Baker and Altman debuted the tune last month during boygenius’ show at The Wiltern in Los Angeles. “7-inches for Planned Parenthood is essentially an independently run record label devoted entirely to protecting sexual and reproductive rights,” Berninger shared in a statement about the project. “Thanks to the huge community of people who helped launch Volume 1, we are very excited to launch Volume 2.” Listen to “All I Want” along with the single’s B-side from Hanif Abdurraqib who performs his poem “Defiance, Ohio Is The Name Of A Band” below:
