Thom Yorke Reunites Atoms For Peace With Flea & Joey Waronker In Los Angeles [Video]

219

On Wednesday night, Radiohead’s Thom Yorke made a stop with his solo outfit at Los Angeles, CA’s Orpheum Theatre.

In 2013, Yorke formed a supergroup—AMOK—which included Red Hot Chili Peppers’ bassist Flea, Beck drummer Joey Waronker, and Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich, who is also a member of Yorke’s touring band. Yorke’s recent performance in The City of Angels presented the perfect opportunity to reunite the short-lived all-star band.

After teasing the possible reunion midway through his set with the tune “Amok”, Yorke invited Flea and Waronker to assist on the second song of his encore, “Atoms For Peace”. Waronker ended up sticking around for “Default”, which brought Yorke’s first encore to a close.
