Andy Frasco and the UN shared a new single, “Can’t Force Love.” The track will appear on the band’s upcoming studio album Change Of Pace, which is due on February 22.
“Can’t Force Love” was originally released on Frasco’s podcast, Andy Frasco’s World Saving Podcast. It’s one of 11 songs featured on the follow-up to the group’s sophomore studio album, 2016’s Happy Bastards, which also includes the previously shared title track.
“‘Can’t Force Love’ is about patience,” Frasco stated. “It seems when we’re lonely, or desperate, we try to ignore the warning signs when we’re looking for companionship. ‘Can’t Force Love’ tries to explain that it’s OK to take your time when you’re falling in love.”
The soulful new single is in stark contrast to some of Andy Frasco & The U.N.’s more well-known songs, which tend to reflect the singer’s high-energy, party-oriented demeanor. Listen to “Can’t Force Love” below:
