Brandi Carlile, Fiona Apple, Chris Stapleton and Ziggy Marley are among the additions to the lineup of the “I Am the Highway: A Tribute To Chris Cornell” concert. The all-star event takes place tonight (January 16) at The Forum in Los Angeles.
Members of Cornell’s former bands – Soundgarden, Temple Of The Dog and Audioslave – are part of the lineup, along with Foo Fighters, Metallica and Ryan Adams. Others scheduled to appear include Perry Farrell, Geezer Butler, Josh Homme, Miley Cyrus, Miguel, Taylor Momsen, Adam Levine and The Melvins. The event will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and other special guests are expected.
Chris Cornell committed suicide on May 18, 2017 at the age of 52. Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Chris And Vicky Cornell Foundation and the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation.
