The follow-up to James Blake‘s 2016 album The Colour In Anything may be coming later this month. As Stereogum pointed out, a since-pulled listing for a James Blake LP entitled Assume Form surfaced on Amazon’s French site and was spotted by fans on Reddit. Assume Form is due on January 25 according to the page.
The Reddit thread indicates the French Amazon page noted the album will include guest appearances from Travis Scott, Andre 3000, Moses Sumney, Rosalia, Metro Boomin and SwaVay. A January 25 release would come in time for the launch of Blake’s North American tour next month. In 2016, James announced The Colour In Anything was due just one day before it was issued. Stereogum has yet to hear back from Blake’s reps about the veracity of the reports.
