Mike Gordon Shares Favorites From Phish Fall Tour 2018

212

Phish bassist Mike Gordon shared a playlist featuring seven of his favorite songs from the quartet’s Fall Tour 2018. Mike’s picks can be streamed via the Live Phish app.

Gordon keeps a journal of his experiences, including his time on the road with both his five-piece and Phish. He went through his notes to start honing in on highlights from the 14-date tour and then listened to his selections in the car to figure out which tunes made the cut. Mike’s playlist begins with “Timber” and “Light” from the third night of the band’s run at Hampton Coliseum on October 21. Next up are lengthy versions of “Everything’s Right” and “Set Your Soul Free” from Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater on October 23. From there, Gordon went with the only tune on the compilation he co-wrote, “Crazy Sometimes” from Halloween in Las Vegas. The playlist ends with “No Men In No Man’s Land” from November 1 in Las Vegas and a take on Allen Toussaint’s “Sneakin’ Sally Through The Alley” that is short but dense, which took place on November 2 in Las Vegas.

Here’s a link to Mike’s playlist. Access the link from your Live Phish mobile app to listen. Phish returns to the road next month for their Phish Riviera Maya destination event.
