moe.‘s tropical throe.down continued on Saturday at Jewel Paradise Cove Resort in Runaway Bay, Jamaica. The five-piece welcomed DJ Logic and The New Mastersounds keyboardist Joe Tratton during their second set at their destination getaway.

The Buffalo-born band opened up their evening with a lengthy jam-filled run that kicked off with “Stranger Than Fiction.” The quintet would stick with setlist staples that debuted in the 1990s as the stretch continued with “Y.O.Y.” and “head.” The band went with back to back deeper cut selections next. First up they looked to Sticks And Stones track “Darkness,” delivering the tune for just the seventh time since 2014. Then they offered up “Smoke,” which was played for the fourth time since 2016. The pairing of “Down Boy” and “Water” brought their first frame to a close.

“Prestige Worldwide” was tapped to open up the second stanza. The Step Brothers referencing named song was followed by longtime fan-favorite “32 Things.” DJ Logic emerged next lending a hand on “Captain America.” The turntablist appeared on the studio version of the tune. The Dither cut began another seamless stretch that would take them through the rest of the set. Tatton joined next, the keyboardist sat in with the band on Friday night as well. The now seven-piece act worked their way through an expanded “Recreational Chemistry” that saw them drop “Blue Jeans Pizza” in its midst. moe. would go it alone for their three-song encore delivering “Same Old Story,” the ninth version of “Blue Eyed Son” since 2014 and Blue Oyster Cult’s “Godzilla” to finish off their night in Jamaica.
