Phosphorescent was the musical guest on Wednesday’s episode of The Late Late Show With James Corden. For last night’s appearance, Matthew Houck went it alone performing an intimate solo version of “C’est La Vie No. 2.”
The song is the title track from the band’s first album since 2013 and was informed by a number of Houck’s personal life experiences including fathering two children and a near-deadly battle with meningitis. Watch Phosphorescent perform “C’est La Vie No. 2” below:
