The third annual Skull & Roses Festival will take place at Ventura County Fairgrounds in Ventura, California April 5 – 7. Organizers of the event, which celebrates the community that formed around the music of the Grateful Dead recently revealed the initial 2019 lineup.
Oteil & Friends, Rebirth Brass Band and Melvin Seals & JGB are a top the bill for April’s event. Stu Allen & Mars Hotel, Grateful Shred, Zach Nugent’s Disco Dead, Cubensis, Xtra Ticket with Dave A-Bear and Jerry’s Middle Finger are also aboard for Skull & Roses 2019. The Oteil & Friends’ lineup for Skull & Roses will see Dead & Company bassist Oteil Burbridge joined by Melvin Seals, John Kadlecik, Scott Metzger, Weedie Braimah and John Kimock. Tickets are on sale now via Eventbrite.
