Ty Segall shared “Love Fuzz,” the lead single from the guitarist’s upcoming new live album Deforming Lobes. Drag City will issue the album featuring Segall backed by The Freedom Band on March 29.
The Freedom Band consists of Mikal Cronin, Ben Boye, Emmett Kelly and Charles Moothart. The eight-song Deforming Lobes was recorded last year at the Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles on a mobile unit directly to two-inch analog tape. Engineer Steve Albini mixed the record at his Electrical Audio facility in Chicago. The live set features tracks from Segall’s albums Melted, Emotional Mugger, Twins, Manipulator, $ingle$ 2 and the self-titled Ty Segall. Stream “Love Fuzz” below:
