Anderson .Paak Announces New Album ‘Ventura’ & Confirms Tour Dates

Anderson .Paak will release a new album entitled Ventura on April 12 through Aftermath Entertainment. The recent Grammy Award winner will support the new album with his upcoming Best Teef In The Game Tour.

Paak recorded Ventura during the same sessions for his 2018 album Oxnard. Dr. Dre served as executive producer on what will be Paak’s fourth album to date.

“Growing up in Oxnard gave me the grit and the church to find this voice of mine,” Paak said in a statement. “One town over I went further and found my depth. The duality of each place inspired me greatly and from that I made two albums at the exact same time but held one back because that would have been too many songs to perform live for you all! I like ending things on an even number so welcome to Ventura.”

The Best Teef In The Game Tour will feature support from Thundercat throughout. Select dates will feature additional support from Earl Sweatshirt, Noname, Mac DeMarco and Jessie Reyez. The tour begins May 17 in Nashville, with additional stops that month in Cleveland; Philadelphia; Uncasville, Connecticut; Westbrook, Maine; Baltimore and Madison Square Garden in New York City. The tour’s June stops include Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, Raleigh, Atlanta, New Orleans, Houston, Dallas and Red Rocks Amphitheatre near Denver. Additional shows will be held in Las Vegas, Vancouver, Seattle and Portland, with a final night currently planned on June 27 in San Francisco. Tickets go on sale starting Friday, March 8 at 10 a.m. local venue time.
