John Prine was featured on a recent edition of CBS This Morning. The 72-year-old singer-songwriter sat for a lengthy interview with John Dickerson.
Dickerson traveled to Prine’s Nashville home to discuss a variety of aspects of Prine’s career, including the three Grammy Award nominations Prine earned for his album The Tree Of Forgiveness. Prine’s wife and manager Fiona Prine appears in the segment. Dickerson and Prine also visit Carter Vintage Guitars in Nashville where the former plays the The Tree Of Forgiveness track “Egg & Daughter Nite, Lincoln Nebraska, 1967 (Crazy Bone).” Dickerson then picks up a guitar to join Prine on “Paradise” from Prine’s 1971 self-titled debut album.
