Eric D. Johnson of Fruit Bats and Andy Cabic‘s Vetiver have issued the live album In Real Life. The pair recorded the EP at Matthew E. White’s Spacebomb Studios in Richmond during an off day of a tour they were doing together.

The six-song effort features Johnson and Cabic performing songs acoustically from their respective catalogs along with a pair of covers. The Fruit Bats frontman delivered takes on the Mouthfuls track “When U Love Somebody” along with “Humbug Mountain Song” from 2016’s Absolute Loser. Cabic looked to Vetiver’s songbook for “Maureen” from 2006’s To Find Me Gone as well as Tight Knit’s “Rolling Sea.” The pair also performed covers of Bobby Charles’ “I Must Be In A Good Place Now” and David Blue’s “Nice Baby And The Angel.”
