Leon Bridges Covers Ginuwine’s ‘Pony’ For ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’

One night after Leon Bridges shared a Grammy Award for Best Traditional R&B Performance as his “Bet Ain’t Worth The Hand” tied PJ Morton’s “How Deep Is Your Love,” the soul singer appeared on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live. The Fort Worth, Texas native not only performed a song from his 2018 album Good Thing, but he also recorded a web exclusive version of “Pony” by Ginuwine.

Leon Bridges’ version of Good Thing track “Shy” aired during Monday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. The program also shared Leon’s cover of “Pony” on its YouTube channel. Bridges started performing the song from Ginuwine’s Ginuwine…The Bachelor debut studio album in 2016. The soul singer only played “Pony” in concert once this year as per Setlist.FM.
