The Download Festival Australia 2019 Set Times Are Here

161

Grab your blackened highlighters because the official Download Festival Australia 2019 set times are fresh from the grave and ready to munch on your brains!

There’ll be a whopping five stages running across both legs of the rock and metal bash in Sydney and Melbourne, which means you’ll likely have some *distorted tritone chord plays* CLASHES to contend with.

For instance, ya girl’s band RedHook just got added to the Sydney lineup thanks to triple J Unearthed (the epic riff-slingers in Windwaker took out the Melbourne slot) which is obviously rad, but it turns out our set’s going to overlap a bit with Polaris so if you guys could please crowdsurf me over to red stage as soon as we wrap so I can catch the end of their set I’d be eternally grateful.

With last week’s heartbreaking cancellation of headliner/Prince Of Darkness Ozzy Osbourne’s appearance, thrash lords Slayer are now in the headliner slot, clashing with Ghost and Sum 41 is Sydney / Ghost and Halestorm in Melbourne.

ICYMI (how?) Download Festival is bringing some of the biggest heavy acts from around the world to our shores, while showcasing plenty of local faves as well, with a lineup featuring the likes of The Amity Affliction, Rise Against, Alice In Chains, Judas Priest and moshloads more.

It’s all going down next weekend, with Sydney’s date being on Saturday 9th March and Melbourne having their event on the long weekend Monday, 11th March.
